Perrysburg, Ohio is home to many excellent public and private schools. The community is dedicated to ensuring that their students are learning in a safe and encouraging environment. Parents and teachers continuously work together to challenge their students academically and to make sure they are working towards becoming contributing members of society.

Public Schools
Perrysburg schools have been recognized for the excellence of their academic program. Perrysburg schools are considered to be among the finest in the state. Students consistently score high on all standardized tests, including the Ohio Department of Education’s Achievement Tests.

For the 2007-2008 school year, the state awarded the district an Excellent rating on the state report card for the eighth consecutive year, and this year received a new Excellent with Distinction rating.

The district has a total enrollment of over 4,500 students in six school buildings. There are four elementary schools, a middle school and a senior high school. The Central Offices are located in the Commodore Building in downtown Perrysburg.

The Perrysburg Schools curriculum consists of pre-vocational, career-based instruction, college and technical preparatory. Advanced Placement courses and honors courses are offered in a total of 22 classes. In 2004 the high school also began offering college courses on-site through Oberlin College that earn students both high school and college credit. High school students also have the opportunity to take classes at local colleges and universities through the Post-Secondary Option. More than 85 percent of Perrysburg students take a college preparatory curriculum.

The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools accredit all of the Perrysburg Schools. District-wide Accreditation was achieved in 2007.
